TASTING NOTES
The nose is ripe black cherry, some marionberry, some mint, some cookie spice, some oak, some bbq spice, Italian spice blend. The flavor is dark ripe cherry, earth, tannin, roasted pepper, oak, flint, limestone, salt, some soy, Italian spice blend, pepper, cayenne a tad, green olive. Opaque plum skin color to lighter edges. Full body and the smoothest texture. Nip of tannin on the end. Ok, probably one of the best rich, fruit style Barolo I’ve tried. Lasting flavor is ripe black cherry, cayenne, pepper, olive.
